Amy L. Johnson, PA-C, is a dedicated and compassionate physician assistant at Allergy Asthma Immunology of the Rockies, with offices in Basalt and Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
With over two decades of clinical experience, Amy brings a patient-centered approach to diagnosing and treating complex allergic conditions, including asthma, food allergies, and medication sensitivities.
Amy began her medical career in Guam while her husband served as a Naval officer. Since 1999, she has practiced in Colorado, transitioning from family medicine to her current focus in allergy and immunology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Distinction from the University of Colorado Boulder and earned her Master of Medical Science with Honors from Emory University School of Medicine.
Amy is passionate about forming lasting relationships with her patients. She is especially skilled in areas such as penicillin allergy delabeling, developing personalized asthma action plans, and guiding patients through food challenges, often leading to life-changing outcomes. Her goal is to provide every patient with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to manage their health and live fully.
Outside of the clinic, Amy enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, and spending time with her husband and three adult children. She is also active in her church community and committed to lifelong learning through continued education and medical conferences.
